Hoy

Hoy is a board game in which each player has a board containing 13 cards from a regular playing pack. The caller calls a particular card and' as in bingo' the player marks it off if it is on her board. When the player's board is completed the call of "hoy" made and once the board is checked the prize is awarded and the next game commences. Our club runs Hoy every second Friday morning at 10am. The club supplies boards and markers (though many of our regulars have their own boards) The cost is $1 per board played and morning tea is supplied prior to the starting time. There are raffles and a minicent sale each day. The hoy session is usually finished by noon
